High-Protein Fish Recipes

  Tuna Poke Bowl Ingredients: 1 lb sushi-grade tuna, cubed 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1 teaspoon rice vinegar 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup 1 teaspoon grated ginger 2 green onions, thinly sliced 2 cups cooked sushi rice or brown rice 1 avocado, sliced 1 cucumber, sliced 1 carrot, julienned 1/4 cup sliced radishes 1 tablespoon sesame seeds Optional toppings: seaweed salad, edamame, pickled ginger Instructions: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and grated ginger to make the marinade. Add cubed tuna to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. To assemble the poke bowls, divide cooked rice among serving bowls. Top with marinated tuna, sliced avocado, cucumber, carrot, radishes, and any other desired toppings. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the bowls and serve immediately.
